The Right Kut

At Sagetech Machinery we design and manufacture a range of vertical panel saws right here in the UK. In sizes and with capabilities to suit organisations from, small businesses to large manufacturers, they are available at a price that is affordable.
Included in our range is the Zapkut ZM. Ideal for small businesses including woodworkers, sign makers, kitchen and bathroom fitters, The ZM is suitable for cutting approximately 40 sheets per week. It comes in two sizes depending on the size of the sheet that needs to be cut and will easily cut timber, acrylics, foam board and aluminium composites.
We asked one of our customers to tell us what he thought after purchasing the product.

"What I liked about the ZM12 when I tried it was the absolute simplicity of use. On the cleverly designed, rotatable saw head (needed for vertical and horizontal cutting) is mounted a standard Festool plunge saw, which is included with the machine. This can be connected to Sagetech’s optional excellent dust collection vacuum, so this ticks the important H&S dust safety box. Since the saws can also be tilted for mitre cuts, accurate bevel cuts come as standard with the Zapkut ZM.
With barely five minutes of explanation and a limited experience of using vertical panel saws, I was able to get a perfect right angle cut on a piece of 18mm thick MDF board safely and easily. Because operating the saw is a two-handed operation, fingers are kept well away from any dangerous bits and there was no discernible dust in the air. As usual, it took longer to load and align the sheet than it did to do the cut."

These floor standing vertical structures will save the extensive floor space traditionally taken up by table saws, they are easy and accurate to use and can be operated by one person. Not only will Sagetech deliver and install machines we will give important training and advice on how to use the machine to get the best out of it.
