TS55 saw
Our next showcased Festool product is the Festool TS55
portable saw. Similarly to the TS75, we also use this saw on our machines. However, we use the TS55 saw on our Zapkut ZM Vertical Panel Saw’s, rather than the Koolkut (KF & KK) range.
The Festool TS55 portable circular saw
The Festool TS55 saw is, quoted from Festool themselves, the best saw they
have ever built. Available with a viewing window or splinter guard, the TS 55 R
gives you even more control and perfect results. With no body, it is possible
to saw close to the edges with a minimum 12 mm wall spacing and has a newly
developed spacer wedge which stands out in front of the saw blade, provides
safety and guarantees precise positioning in existing saw cuts. There is also
an extended angle setting and a dual display for cutting depth adjustment. This
ensures even more precision and easy operation. Blades
are able to be changed in a safe, fast, easy and efficient manner to cope with
different types of materials you’re cutting.

The main applications for the TS55 saw are:
- Precise circular in materials up to 55 mm thick
- Cutting interior doors to length using guide rail and circular saw
- Manufacturing expansion joints in parquet flooring and false joints
- Cutting chipboard to size
- Cutting and processing plasterboard
