ASAP Signs replace Board Cutting machine with Zapkut ZM12

Company Name: ASAP Signs

What do they do? ASAP Signs are a dynamic, progressive sign company who specialize in all aspects of design, manufacture and installation. Established in 1983, they have over 30 years experience in the signage and graphics industry, with a wealth of technical and product knowledge. This reflects in the quality, workmanship and attention to detail carried out by ASAP Signs. They always strive to go the extra mile for all of their customers and feel that they provide excellent customer service, value for money and professionalism throughout.

Where did they hear about Sagetech Machinery? ASAP Signs had been familiar with Sagetech Machinery for quite a while prior to investigating vertical panel saws due to sector specific publications and exhibitions.

Why did they decide to purchase a Vertical Panel Saw? A number of years ago, ASAP Signs purchased a board cutting machine which at the time fit within their budget and the space that was available to them. Unfortunately, when the board cutter was installed, it was not done correctly and broke on sight. Much to the frustration of ASAP Signs, they decided to cancel the board cutting machine and continued with their previous solution which was having the material cut to size externally and ordered in.  After saving for a period of time, ASAP signs decided to make another attempt at bringing their cutting in house and purchased a brand new Zapkut ZM12.

How did they find the sales and installation process? They felt that Sagetech Machinery were very understanding of their circumstances and due to the previous frustrations when buying the board cutting machine, they needed some reassurance. The team at Sagetech arranged for ASAP Signs to go and visit another customer with the machine they were interested in so that they could see it in working action.  They felt that the team understood their business, their needs and the space they had available and worked with them to find the right model.  As the initial enquiry took place on the run up to Christmas, ASAP signs wanted to wait until the New Year to purchase and felt that Sagetech understood that and were happy to wait to process the order until they were ready.

How has a Vertical Saw benefitted the business? ASAP Signs feel a sense of relief that they no longer rely on ordering for cutting jobs and can buy in full sheets to cut themselves.  They are able to utilize their offcuts while speeding up the production process and find the machine easy to use.
