Kerr Signs upgrade Zapkut ZM to KoolKut KK16.

Company Name - Kerr Signs

What do they do? With over 30 years experience in their field, Northern Ireland based Kerr Signs provide a full design, manufacture and installation of vehicle graphics, retail & commercial signage, glass manifestation and window tinting on vehicles. They also provide labels, sticker design and printing, CNC and Laser cutting and engraving. They are specialists in commercial signage, vehicle decal application and large format digital printing.

Where did they hear about Sagetech Machinery? Kerr Signs were already the proud owner of a Zapkut ZM vertical panel saw which they had purchased from Sagetech many years ago. When they realised that a new machine was needed, they were so happy with their previous model that they returned to Sagetech Machinery, to discuss a newer, bigger model.

Why did they decide to purchase a Vertical Panel Saw? Since purchasing their older model, a Zapkut ZM vertical wall saw, their workload had increased quite significantly.  With this in mind, they contacted the Sagetech Machinery team to see whether they could utilize their older machine and upgrade to a larger model. They were delighted to be told that they could trade in their own machine, to purchase an approved  wall saw, a KoolKut KK16.

How did they find the sales and installation process? FANTASTIC! They were supported by Sales and Operations Manager Mark Bartell who helped them to identify their new machine and ensure that it was best suited to their needs and increased workload. The delivery team delivered the machine all the way to their premises in Northern Ireland while removing their existing Zapkut Model ensuring the whole process was seamless. They felt that the engineer was excellent and ensured that the installation was completed efficiently and the machine was fully commissioned. He ensured that the team were trained and understood how to use the machine to ensure the most efficient usage.

How has a Vertical Saw benefitted them and their business? They now have a machine that is capable of cutting to their increased capacity meaning they can get through more cutting each week. They have the right machine for them to cut down the larger sheets of material for their jobs. Most importantly, cutting the sheets in house gives them more control over the production of signage and allows them to manufacture their portfolio of products efficiently.
